
Cookery Weekend with Liz Moore
April 27-29th
Hilton Park is delighted to host the culinary talents of Liz Moore, former manager of the Belle Isle cookery school. The weekend will combine the old world luxury and relaxation of a weekend at Hilton with the opportunity to learn ‘hands on’ in the Hilton kitchen from one of Ireland’s most celebrated cooks. Ideal for couples, as while one half cooks the other can enjoy all the estate has to offer, such as a complimentary round of golf or some boating and fishing on one of the lakes. Other activities off the estate can also be organised, such as canoeing and horse riding at an extra cost. Guests can arrive on Friday afternoon for tea in the drawing room and unwind followed by a four-course dinner in the dining room. Breakfast the next day is a leisurely affair.

Meet Liz in the Hilton kitchen at 11.45 for your briefing of the day’s work ahead. You will cook towards a three course dinner that evening which you will enjoy in the grand dining room with your partner that evening. During the day, we will visit the walled garden and also forage in the hedges for some of the ingredients. A simple, but delicious lunch will be provided in the kitchen and your partner is very welcome to join us. All recipes, equipment and aprons will be provided for you and all food intolerances or preferences can be catered for when previously arranged. Before dinner and a complimentary bottle of house wine, you will have ample opportunity to relax and change. Perhaps another cocktail before enjoying the fruits of your labour!
