Literary weekend with Pat McCabe
After the success of our inaugural weekend with Pat McCabe, we are delighted he has agreed to a return match in March 2012, the *23rd-24th March.
Pat will join us on the Saturday evening and has chosen novel Troubles by J.G.Farrell. Two years ago he led the discussion on The Siege of Krishnapur, which was a hugely successful and entertaining evening. Troubles has been having a renaissance having been selected in 2010, by the public, as ‘The Lost Booker’ winner, there having been no competition in 1970, the year of Troubles’ publication.
The weekend will combine literary discussion with likeminded individuals whilst enjoying great food and wine. There’ll also be ample opportunity to relax and enjoy all that Hilton has to offer.
The weekend includes a three course dinner with wine on the Friday evening, two nights accommodation with breakfast each morning, lunch on the Saturday and of course a four course dinner that evening with Pat himself and afterwards for plenty more discussion and debate.
