Literary Weekends throughout the year

A succession of established authors including Colm Tobin, Pat McCabe and Anne Enright will be in residence at Hilton for one weekend every month during 2010. You are invited to join them, not only to exchange ideas on all aspects of prose and composition, and to discuss the book selected by Hilton Park for that particular weekend – but also to enjoy the deliciously luxurious surroundings of one of Ireland’s most impressive private homes. Grow Your Own weekends
Following on from the tremendous success of last year, Grow your own garden courses will be run this year again- be it a windowsill, patio or kitchen garden you have- we’ll start at the absolute basics, even if you’ve never sown a seed before, you’ll see that you can’t go wrong.

For those of you who prefer a more intimate experience this spring and summer we have a trained horticulturist on the estate. Laura Allen will give individual (as well as groups) tutoring during your stay so you can learn at your own pace, be it extensively or just to master the basics.
